What to expect

Camp Comanche provides two-week sessions of endless adventures, sweet friendships, delicious food, exciting speakers, and most importantly, spiritual growth.

It gives children the chance to get away from the pressures of everyday life, have fun with friends and their leaders, and hear the message of God's love.

Each year we have about 70 children in attendance. Our goal is to lead small so that we can make lasting impacts on each child.

  • chapel & worship

Each year of camp is centered around a specific theme, pointing towards the Gospel.

    CHAPEL

Chapel is held each morning, where there is an engaging time of worship, followed by a message shared by different speakers throughout the week, each centered around the week's theme.

    CABIN DEVOS

In the midst of the excitement of camp, we are intentional each day to have a time set aside for each cabin to meet and do devotions together. This is a special time because the smaller group setting allows for the campers to deepen their understanding of what is being taught at chapel and to grow closer with their cabin.

  • themed nights

Campers love to dress up according to the theme of each night. We have many exciting themes planned including Western, Latin, Hawaiian, Treasure Hunt, and Banquet.

    TALENT SHOW

Throughout the week, each cabin gets to prepare an act to perform at our Camp Comanche Talent Show. Our campers are so talented, and we want to provide the opportunity for them to shine!

  • endless fun

    ENRICHMENT CLASSES

Each day, the campers attend multiple enrichment classes such as boating, hiking, arts & crafts, soccer, basketball, baking, puppetry, dance, zumba...the list goes on!

    WATER ACTIVITIES

We have a beautiful lakefront where campers get to swim and have fun in the sun. In addition to swimming, campers have the chance to take advantage of our kayaks, paddle boards, canoes, and tubes. There's never a dull moment at the lake. Campers also love to zoom down our 250 ft. water slide.

    FIELD GAMES

In the evenings, we take advantage of our giant field on top of the hill, which gives us the space to play group games such as kick ball, soccer, and Sadie Hawkins, all while watching the sun set over the horizon.
