  • Summer Scholarship Fund Donations

    Our Goal:

    Please join us in our goal to raise $65,000.00 for this summer.  We have been celebrating all God has accomplished in the past and today we needs to raise money for our scholarship program and general camp needs for the upcoming months.  Over the years, our scholarship program has allowed hundreds of children to experience Summer Camp and encounter Christ that wouldn't have had the opportunity otherwise.   


    How To Support:

    1. Make a donation today to show your support.
    2. Ask your family to contribute together to sponsor one child for $400.00
    3. Set up a monthly gift through Zelle to Camp Comanche our contact email is empowernypa@gmail.com.  
    4. Prefer to mail a check?  Make it out to Camp Comanche, put either scholarship fund or where most needed in the memo line, and mail it to:

  • May 6th NYC Angel Tree Camp Registration Day

    2-5pm

    Angel Tree camper recipients are encouraged to join us on this day to come and fill out your camper application and permission forms. A minimal registration fee is required per child, $30.00. If you have three or more children attending camp from one household, we will give you a registration price amount based on our scale. Then, join the fun that day by joining our games and eating food. We can't wait to see you then! All NYC campers are encouraged to attend this event as well.

  • June 3rd-4th Work Weekend

    Here is a second opportunity to pitch in to prepare camp for this summer? It starts after Breakfast on June 3rd and goes through Lunch on June 5th.   Or come for the day on June 3rd .  We will have landscaping, painting, and cleaning jobs for all who can help. Sign-up by clicking on the photo to the left.  Filling out the form Lets us know how many number of  people for meals. This is a great way to meet our staff, board members, and getting dirty for a good cause.

  • July 5th-8th Summer Camp Staff Training

    During camp training, our volunteers are ready to embark on a summer that will change the trajectory of their life. Our overnight program at Camp Comanche will prove to be the most impactful experience YOU will have this summer as a staff member. So bring your talents, energy, and integrity to the table as YOU impact the lives of young people.

  • July 9th-15th Sleep Away session 1

    Our mission is to build up children between the ages of 6-11. Therefore, during our overnight camp experience, we intentionally gear our programs and activities around our core values (Empower).


    Empower every child at risk and their families.

    Make sure everyone encounters God's love.  

    Pray and intercede for our youth, staff, volunteers, and ministry.

    Offer a helping hand out of love.

    Witness the Gospel of Christ.  

    Excellence and quality in all we say and do.

    Respond with grace and respect to all who attend camp.
